Build your lineup.
Two damage specializations
This lineup has no dedicated healer. Plan a short attack, keep a defensive answer ready and agree on a way to reset.
Agree on the first attack.
Choose a target and a short call that both players recognize. Decide who starts the attack, who follows it and which response you will keep available if the other team counterattacks.
A ranged and melee pairing needs a position where both can contribute. Two ranged players still need a plan when an opponent reaches them. A healer needs a sight line to the teammate they are supporting.
Make room for defensive decisions.
Name the first defensive response before the match. If a teammate can handle the opening pressure, save a second response for the next attack instead of spending everything together.
A lineup without a dedicated healer should discuss recovery and reset opportunities. A team with a healer should discuss how to protect that healer when opponents switch targets.
Practise the plan, then adjust it.
After a match, ask whether the lineup lacked a role or whether the plan simply broke down. A missed call, interrupted heal or long chase can change a fight without making the classes incompatible.
Use the class notes to understand a partner’s role and the talent guide to choose effects that support the same plan.
